Welcome to my webpage. I am a neuro-AI researcher at Duke University Department of Neurobiology and center for theoretical neuroscience.  My research focus is on neural dynamics and plasticity to unravel mechanisms of habit learning, utilizing both theoretical and computational modeling, as well as analysis of experimental data. I received my Ph.D. from Duke University department of physics, where I studied granular media dynamics. I have visited and conducted projects at Wolfram Research, Allen Institute for Brain Science and Marine Biological Laboratory, and have received several mathematics and programming awards. Prior to my graduate studies, I completed my B.Sc. in Physics at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, located in my hometown of Iran. In my leisure time, I enjoy pursuing photography and videography, and you can view some of my work on the header of the website's tabs.
